European young shluchos now have a terrific Chinuch opportunity in the winter too!
Gan Yisroel Tzeirei Hashluchos Sweden is opening a wintercamp for daughters of shluchim in Europe, between 8 and 14 years old, beginning Thursday, 16 Teves (23 December) until Sunday, 26 Teves, (2 January).
Following the success of the summer camp BH, this will provide the girls with ten days in a chassidishe environment, enabling them to make new friends with girls just like them in so many ways. Girls who live all year on a similar time zone, who also speak at least one of the languages they do, who live lives devoted to the same ideals…refined, chassidishe maidlach just like them!
The wintercamp activities include farbrengens, Tanya baal peh, shiurim, nigunim, games, skiing, ice skating, swimming, night activities, trips, drama, arts and crafts and much more.
This camp will iyH strengthen their friendships with each other, and they will be able to return home with a new dedication to their lives as shluchos, living by the horaos of the Rebbe.
Gan Yisroel for European Tzeirei Hashluchos in Sweden began in 5769 as a joint project of Merkos Leinyonei Chinuch and Chabad of Sweden, directed by Rabbi Alexander and Leah Namdar.
“Camp is such an important part of a Chassidishe chinuch, ” says Rabbi Namdar. “The Rebbe once told a chossid that the chayus of camp is ‘freilach azoi vi Simchas Torah!’ In 5751, the Rebbe told my wife and myself in yechidus: “…Freilach begashmius! Nu, you will be freilach and we will hear good news.” We want to help raise freiliche Chassidim, and camp is a great way to do this.”
“The staff is a group of experienced, warm, and devoted counselors,” Leah Namdar relates. “The kind of Chassidishe role models we want for our daughters. They are also lots of fun!”
Gothenburg, Sweden, called the heart of Scandinavia, is renowned for its clean air, pure water, and close proximity to skiing and other winter sports. The campsite lies at the heart of miles of untouched forest and nature reserves. There is a private entrance from the campsite leading into the famous Botanical Gardens, with beautiful scenery, waterfalls and majestic trees.
The campsite is on a large piece of land, with an indoor heated swimming pool.
Only one building will be available during the winter, so places are more limited than the summer. Interested parents should contact [email protected] or call 4631-413-333/ 718 971 5054 as soon as possible, since registration is almost full.
Campers and counselors will beH be attending from Greece, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, England, Norway, Austria, France and the US.

Every parent appreciates what Tzeirei Hashluchos Sweden has done for they’re kid.
Thank you, to a strong “dugma chayah” of The Rebbe’s Shluchim, Thank you, Namdars.
A proud Parent
I send my daughters there all the years.
They come back with, such “chassidishe chayus”, a real sense of identity and pride of Shlichus…
We really owe it to the Namdars, who gave and continue to give, our children, what they so much need on a lonely far out Shlichus. With such “ibergegebnkait” & selflessness.
