A crowd of over 200 people gathered on a cold windy night in Bakersfield, California, for a Menorah lighting celebration.
Mayor of Bakersfield, Harvey Hall, joined Rabbi Shmuli Schlanger for the Menorah lighting.
Accompanied by his guitar, Rabbi Schlanger led the crowd in rocking Chanukah tunes, and Chabad Hebrew School children performed a rap about the Maccabees.
The crowd happily sang along with the performances and enjoyed hundreds of home fried doughnuts.
