Mrs. Rechyl Rappaport, a member of the Chabad community in Toronto, passed away on Sunday, 2 Nissan 5775.
She was 84.
She was from the founding member of Anash in Toronto and was a regular at Chabad Lubavitch Beth Joseph synagogue which was led by Rabbi Dr. Emmanuel I. Schochet OBM.
She is survived by her husband R’ Avrohom Rappaport of Toronto, their children Chani Rappaport – Syracuse, NY; Ruthy Becker – Crown Heights, Yossi Rappaport – Toronto, Lala Salansky – Far Rockaway, NY; Hudis Kagen – Los Angeles, CA; Ezzy Rappaort – Bal Harbour, FL; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The will leave on Monday from Shomrei Hadas Chapels at 11:00AM and will pass by 770 Eastern Parkway at 12:00PM to be interred at Beth David Cemetery in Elmont, NY.
