Rebbetzin Miriam Friedman of Crown Heights, the matriarch of the Friedman family of Chasidim and Shluchim, passed away on Sunday, 17 Sivan 5777.
She was 101 years old.
Rebbetzin Friedman was the wife of Rabbi Yaakov Moshe hakohain Friedman, the well-known chasid and ish hachessed.
She is survived by four generations of chasidim and shluchim, including her children, Mrs. Fay Kranz-Greene, long time shlucha to Richmond, VA, Rabbi Manis Friedman, shliach to S. Paul, MN, Mrs. Ita Marcus, shlucha to Los Alamitos, CA, Rabbi Benzion Friedman, shliach to Kansas City, KS, Rabbi Alter Eliyohu Friedman, shliach to Tzfas, Rabbi Shlomo Friedman of Tzach in Crown Heights, Rabbi Yosef Boruch Friedman of Kehos Publication Society in Crown Heights, and Rabbi Abraham (Avraham Fried) Friedman of Crown Heights.
The Levaya will take place Monday 11:00 am at Shomrei Hadas, passing 770 Eastern Parkway at 12:00pm.
Shiva will take place at 701 Montgomery street.
Shachris at 8:30am and 9am.
Daytime visits requested to be from after shachris until 12:30pm and from 1:30-6:00pm.
Mincha at 7:30 and 7:45.
