Mrs. Bebshie (Basya Bryna) Rubin of Flatbush, Brooklyn, passed away on Sunday night, 16 Elul, 5779.
She was 73.
She was the wife of R’ Moshe Rubin, a long-time electrician. For several years in the 1970’s they lived in Crown Heights, their daughters attending Bais Rivkah Schools.
As a long-time electrician, her husband serviced the Rebbe’s home, 770 and many of the homes, buildings and other Shuls in Crown Heights.
When the Rebbe became ill, he was immediately called to add an electrical line for air conditioning and he trained many of the local Lubavitcher electricians.
They were renowned for their tremendous Chesed and good hearts.
Despite suffering for nearly 45 years and being mostly bedridden with Multiple Sclerosis, she never complained and remained steadfast in her tznius, daily davening, reciting Tehilim and ensuring her family continuously grow in Torah and Mitzvos.
She is survived by her husband Moshe and children, Miriam (Gwertzman) – Lakewood, Sarah Baila (Kramer) – Lakewood, Devoiry (Warman) – Lakewood, Shmuel Dovid – Yerushalayim, Eli – Lakewood, Tova (Fraczoz) – Brooklyn, Shaindy (Gross) – Lakewood, Avrumi – Yerushalayim, and Brocha (Silverman) – Flatbush, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who follow in her ways of Chesed.
She is survived by her siblings Leah Yehudis (Edie) Scheiner, Boston, Rachel Andrusier, Crown Heights/Lauderhill, FL, Yossi Spanier, Flatbush, and Judy Klass, Boro Park.
Her husband and children are sitting Shiva in Lakewood, NJ.
On Tuesday Rachel Andrusier will be sitting Shiva with Yossi Spanier at 1483 e 13 St. in Flatbush.
Wednesday morning till 1 pm she will be at 407 Crown St in Crown Heights and from Wednesday night till Sunday morning at 4462 NW 66 Ave. Lauderhill, FL.
