United Poultry Concerns will stage a protest demonstration at the Chabad Shul of Potomac in the front parking lot at Chabad of Potomac at 11621 Seven Locks and Gainsborough Road in Potomac, Maryland. This is where a kapparot chicken “swinging” ritual is scheduled for Thursday, September 24.

Representatives of the animal rights organization PETA were also on hand at the Kapparos ritual in Crown Heights on Wednesday, distributing flyers reading “Gelt, Not Guilt.”
