The buses rolled in to Montreal from Toronto with 60 Bochurim at around 4:00 pm, for an anticipated Shabbos achdus weekend.
After a grand welcoming meal, a Kinus Torah began, starting with Rabbi Berel Bell from the Rabonim of Montreal explaining the importance of learning Halacha.
This was followed by a student of the Montreal Yeshiva, Aba Amzalag, who explained the concept of witnesses according to he Ra’aved and according to the Rambam.
A Shliach of the Toronto Yeshiva, Levi Naparstek, then explained the concept of the Mitzvos of the Avos in the Rebbe’s Torah. Finishing off with a student of the Toronto yeshiva, Ahron Dovid Rappoprt, who explained a few arguments in the Gemara in the topic of witness with one explanation.
After Mincha, Seder Niggunim and Maariv the Bochurim of both Yeshivos joined together to Farbreng among themselves with the Shluchim about the importance of Hakhel and Achdus before Matan Torah.
Shabbos afternoon was a grand Farbrengen with the Mashpim of both Yeshvos, Rabbi Akiva Wagner from Toronto and Rabbi Shlom Ber Cohen, Rabbi Mordechai Wenger and Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Gurary From Montreal.
In the spirit of the Farbrengen all the Bochurim continued on, to the Chabad House of Cote S. Luc where the Bochurim walked for a 25 minute tahalucha.
At the Chabad House the Bochurim Learned and Farbrenged with the congregation, adding a whole new spirit to the Shul, and were inspired by Shliach Rabbi Mendel Raskin.
When the Bochurim got back to Yeshiva they were greeted with a grand Melave Malka with guest speaker Rabbi Yosef Minkowitz, followed by a video of the Rebbe. ending off with a group photo and joyous dancing.
