On Chol Hamoed Pesach, members of the Chabad community in Montreal, Canada, gathered for a Kinus Torah gathering spending time delving in timeless teachings.
The event was held in accordance with the Rebbe’s directives took place at the Yeshiva, home to the central Chabad shul in the city, with the participation of rabbis, chassidim and bochurim.
On Monday, the second day of Chol Hamoed, the Kinus opened with Dvar Malchus – a Sicha from the Rebbe, and continued with a pilpul by Rabbi Leibel Kaplan – Rosh Yeshiva of Tomchei Temimim in Montreal.
Afterwards Rabbi Chaim Eliezer Ashkenazi explained the halachos of the afikoman as explained by his late father, Rabbi Mordechai Shmuel Ashkenazi, the respected rov of the Kfar Chabad village.
On Tuesday, the Kinus continued with a Shiur by Rabi Menachem Mendel Schneur of Mesivta Oholei Torah of Crown Heights.
