Plans are underway for a most amazing Masmidim program for summer 2012; Camp Gan Israel – Montreal is happy to share some of the plans for the upcoming summer season.
Under the directors Chaim Stern and Zalman Blecher, and counselors Yisrolik Barber and Shmuli Engel, the bochurim are in for the perfect combination of an intense learning program, in a Chassidishe atmosphere, with the benefits of the camp grounds and spirit.
The camp’s Rabbi and Mashpia, Rabbi Shmulik Shuchat, now serving as Rosh Yeshiva of Beis Medrash of Beth Chabad in Cote St. Luc, Quebec, will be adding to the Masmidim program as well.
In addition to the daily shiurim for the waiters, learning teachers, counselors and general staff, the Masmidim will be enjoying 2 Shiurim a week with Rabbi Shuchat and he will be available to provide guidance to the staff in all sections of camp.
“With Rabbi Shuchat in our midst, we feel the bochurim in all departments will have the opportunity to continue their Yeshiva year throughout the summer months in camp,” says the camp director Rabbi Yisroel Mochkin.
“We look forward to added Ruchinius and Chassidishkeit to our already Chassidishe program IY”H.”
