This next Sunday, January 16th/ Tu B’shevat, Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka will launch a 36-hour campaign to raise the literal standard and heights of education for girls across the tri-state area and beyond.
“Every child deserves an education.”
It is all too common that this phrase means the child is treated as a number or statistic; that the education is a means to an end or a way to fill the day. The end result is cold, almost lifeless information, that leaves a student feeling unstimulated, unconnected, and mentally restless.
“Children are the fruit of our labor”
In the years since its inception, Monsey Beis Chaya Mushka has relentlessly endeavored to raise the heights of education, both Limudei Kodesh and Limudei Chol, by providing a warm, intentionally balanced education that interweaves all subjects in a friendly and encouraging environment.
Information is a basic right. That doesn’t mean an education should be basic. MBCM has strived to incorporate the highest level of academics with a thoroughly personal understanding of Yiddishkeit and Chassidishkeit. The result is an individualized learning experience that greets students with a positive fervor and leaves a sense of genuine understanding and commitment.
By working closely with the community; taking the time to understand the needs and concerns of parents, students and faculty, MBCM has continued, year after year, to shine as a premier example of Chassidus, classic Limudei Kodesh, and l’havdil secular academics in perfect balance. MBCM’s ability to rapidly shift to fit each student is thanks in part to their remarkable faculty and the teachers own personal commitment to every student.
On January 16th/ Tu B’shevat, MBCM is partnering with families and community, in a 36-hour matching campaign to raise $350,000. Starting at 12:00 pm, every dollar given to the campaign will be tripled thanks to the generous support of like-minded community members who see the limitless value of a neshama and the gift of a remarkable education.
