HE DOES NOT DO JUSTICE TO THIS SONG…ITS TOTALLY OFF KEY

Two Great Singers

Ofer Levi is one of the greatest Mizrahi singers, and Avremel is incredible. The fact that the great Ofer Levi is singing this song shows an amazing Ahavat Yisrael and Achdus between Yiden. Btw, Ofer Levi became hozer btshuva years ago and unfortunately went off. If at this point he was introduced to Chassidus, things would be very different…

I LOVE JEWISH MUSIC

But I cannot even listen to this track…
I don’t know much about Ofer, I just hope his other tracks are alot more pleasant…

Not impressed

Horrible. Completely killed the original song. leave it to Fried.

Hmmm...

Well, there is no accounting for taste. Levi is a bit of a character and he can get away with this. I don’t think it would get too far in the Jewish Star contest, though.

Avraham Fried is still king. Nobody sings it like him. I think it’s nice that he takes Fried songs to audiences that might not be particular to Fried’s or MBD’s music etc. but I’m curious what’s Freid’s opinion.
