Students at Cheder Chabad of Morristown, New Jersey, took part in an inspiring hands-on Yud Shvat program.
The program began with singing the 12 pesukim with incredible kavanah and then moved on to a discussion about 3 special things that happened on Yud Shvat.
The discussion stressed the importance of the 10 mivtzoyim campaigns that the Rebbe started and learned beautiful lessons on how they apply to us, as frum yidden just as they do the rest of the world.
Then, came the highlight – a grand Mivtzoim Fair. Students enjoyed decorating candle holders and learning about the special light of shabbos candles at the Neshek booth and sending thank you cards to their teachers for providing such wonderful classes at the Chinuch booth.
They also examined a real pair of teffilin and quill-writing at the Tefillin boot, made bookmarks at the Bayis Malei Sefarim booth, edible chuppahs at the Taharas Hamishpacha booth.
By the end of the program, their bags and their hearts were packed to the brim with chassidishe chayus.
