550 people gathered at the world famous New York Stock Exchange in Manhattan Monday evening to benefit the ‘Just One Life’ organization and honor Mr. Simi Jacobson, an investor from Crown Heights.
While mingling amongst the computers on the trading floor of the financial capital of the world, guests enjoyed lavish Hors D’oeuvres and fine wine, tastefully coordinated by Heshy Jay of Scoop and Company.
Just One Life, an organization that offers financial and emotional help to pregnant women in Israel during times of uncertainty, honored Jacobson, CEO of the J-Group investment company, for his support.
Amongst the event committee were Moshe Malamud – owner of the Franklin Mint and Mr. Mark Isaacson, CEO of Great Court Capital, who was recently honored at the Oholei Torah benefit dinner.
Speakers included Mr. Guy C. Adami, Vice Chairman of TradeMonster and a featured commentator on CNBC’s Fast Money, and Suzanne Ohalloran of Bloomberg Television.
Over $2 million was raised from the event with the participation of heavy hitters from Wall Street’s most prestigious companies such as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, Seahawk Capital, Arcadia Wealth Management Fund and Maximus Securities.
Kosher.com, the online Kosher food superstore, was one of the evening’s sponsors.
“This was a historic evening for our organization and the thousands of mothers who rely on us,” Rabbi Eitan Tokayer, Director of Just One Life told COLlive.com.
“We are deeply indebted to Simi Jacobson and all of his angel investors for the work they have done.”
