Rashi Minkowicz, a dynamic young woman and mother of eight kids, was the co-director of the Chabad center in Alpharetta, Georgia when she unexpected passed away in 2014, yet she continues to inspire countless lives.
Her aunt Shaindy Jacobson, a noted educator and director of the Jewish Learning Institute’s Women Division, warmly reflects on Rashi’s enduring impact. The speech was given during the 5775 Kinus Hashluchos.
You look like a royal queen.
Rashi, we will NEVER forget you!!! Your aunt Shaindy said it so well. You accomplished more in your too short 37 years than most people accomplish in entire lifetimes. Your legacy DOES, and WILL continue to live on forever. Thousands of women began keeping the mitzvah of Taharat Hamishpacha, hundreds of Torah & Teas have sprung up across the world, and this is just the beginning. Rashi’s Campus will be built in Alpharetta and your message will be paid forward in unimaginable ways.
Beautiful!

been part of your life
happy purim morah fraide
At present Rabbi Simon Jacobson’s Wednesday Manhattan classes take place at Chabad of Midtown where “David from Kansas City” is a regular attendee for many years- he HAD a girlfriend from Singapore but no longer does B”H. We worked on him for a while regarding this matter. I’m shocked because I did not know this story. Indeed the butterfly effect. We encouraged David to attend Rabbi Jacobson’s class…And now see that working together – we were effecting one another to affect this young man…BC Metzger
Shaindy in her element, always praising and blessing others. she is very special in her own right, a dugma chaya,
