To celebrate the Chabad activities in the state of Indiana, and to recognize the family of the late Jill and Irwin Rose, Former Vice President Mike Pence attended the Chabad of Indiana recent gala dinner.
The Vice President addressed the crowd and remarked on the excellent work Chabad does and expressed gratitude for the long, warm relationship he has with the Rose family.
The gala was well-attended by representatives of all facets of Chabad’s offerings: Hebrew school parents, CTeen parents, Young Jewish Professionals and many of the regulars of Shul services, family events and Torah classes.
The crowd was inspired by guest speaker, renowned inspirational speaker Rabbi Dov Greenberg, and enjoyed a show by the world famous PaintJam artists.
Chabad of Indiana, led by Shluchim Rabbi Avrohom and Nini Grossbaum and Rabbi Dovid and Chana Grossbaum has been operating in Indiana since 1981 and boasts 8 Shluchim families.
Pence on Monday filed the paperwork for his bid for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, setting up a clash with his running mate of elections past, former President Donald Trump.
Pence is set to formally announce his candidacy on Wednesday.
