A Kinus Torah gathering to learning Torah was held on Isru Chag Hapesach in Miami Beach for the many guests that came to town for the holiday.
As directed by the Rebbe, the gathering invited chassidim and bochurim to the Beis Menachem Shul.
The emcee and organizer was Sholom Dovber Korf, son of Rabbi Benzion Korf, Director of the Chabad educational institutions in the city.
His grandfather, Rabbi Avrohom Korf, Head Shliach of Florida, was the first to address the gathering. He spoke about the difference between the last days of Pesach and the last days of Sukkos concerning the reciting of the Shecheyanu blessing.
Other speakers were Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Rosh Yeshiva Chabad in Miami and his colleague, Rabbi Leibel Shuchat, Rosh Yeshiva Chabad in Caracas, Venezuela.
A guest speaker was Rabbi Chaim Schapiro, menahal of Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim and the smicha program at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, NJ.
After the conclusion of the program, participants sat for a lengthy farbrengen with local Shliach Rabbi Yisroel Spalter.
