t us be allowed to disagree without insulting one another.
after all, this is what an open comment forum is all about.

I”m sorry, but your comment is very insulting to benny and his fans

fan of benny
April 16, 2009 3:44 pm

# 40 whats your issue? Are you a fortune teller or just playing G-d? I understand you think yourself a maven and all, but don’t start issuing verdicts and judgements on what benny will be, or will never be. And you don’t need to be a maven to know that somebody has a great voice, and sings hartzige songs, and gets through to his audiences in a great way. Just look at Benny’s performances “The songs and stories of Shabbos” Their great, and creative. I don’t care how you, the maven, classify benny, but he’s got major talent and creativity,… Read more »

I think, the people in general do not deserve so much for all replies in this forum. He just a guy trying to be a great singer, and because of his uncle, he succeeded in a certain time. But he makes mistake after mistake, and not studying. And maybe he will be lucky to succeed. Just like you!

April 14, 2009 10:41 am

next time can u make that when u put the mouse on the person it says the name …thank you!,by the way was shmuli broyn there?

April 14, 2009 10:17 am

to all of the family and loyal friends of benny: your over reaction to some direct and constructive critisizm, calling it jealously, etc. etc., just shows that, where there is smoke there must be fire. you guys just bringing your insecurities to the forefront and are not doing anything positive for benny. benny is a guy who is trying to make it into the business and might succeed (with Gods help) to an extent but, i have been following the newcomers for many years and am a bit of a “maiven” in the field. given the chance, he will go… Read more »

To # 37…I hear that Yeshiva Boy’s Choir may possibly be going to Europe this year…maybe they can pop in for a concert or two!

April 14, 2009 8:02 am

it was amazing and england definately missed out

April 14, 2009 6:55 am

that looks sooooooo much fun .
but how about a choir for the England people
like in manchester for example.
why should we miss out on all the fun?????????

April 14, 2009 6:04 am

Back to my original question. I have no problem with mixed seating or family seating. I was only wondering was there also available totally separate seating for those requesting or prefering it.??

looking good
April 14, 2009 4:20 am

yehuda gorkin,
your looking great! i wasn’t there but i’m sure you sounded great too!!!
your classmate

wow. this Benny kid is special
April 13, 2009 8:00 pm

Big ups to Benny friedman on a spectacular performance. You are a shining star with so much to give. We look forward to a brilliant career filled with meaningful chassidishe songs straight from the heart.

MBC Concert - To #25
April 13, 2009 7:49 pm

In answer to your questions, yes I do sing. Yes I have been on stage in front of so many people. I think I am someone who can offer constructive criticism. I know Benny is the next coming. But my feedback is not negative. If anything, he will be better off because of it. Even the King of Jewish music, Avraham Fried (or is he the Prince according to MBD loyalists?) took stage lessons. No embarrassment there. Benny’s voice is raw and will get better. But it is far from the finished product. So let’s not get to carried away… Read more »

Segal vs. Kar
April 13, 2009 5:51 pm

The MC the first night was the famous Nachum Segal! Who was the MC the second night? Where was Nachum on Monday?

mixed seating
April 13, 2009 5:40 pm

we should not judge on mixed seating. are we perfect ourselves; maybe we say more loshon horan than the people who dont mind the seating, so STOP THE CRTISISM!!!!!

April 13, 2009 5:30 pm

looks like it was an interesting concert – from the costumes i would almost have thought it was more of a production – what were the soldiers singing? please please post some video clips of it!!!!

April 13, 2009 3:29 pm

the concert was a blast ! i went with my friends
and were so doing it again next year keep it up
miami boys !!!!!!!!

Thumbs up for mixed seating!
April 13, 2009 3:25 pm

What? Put men and women seperate? That’s nazism, rachmanah l’tzlan! How do people speak like this?

April 13, 2009 3:12 pm

Do you sing? Have you ever been on stage in front of so many people? Who do you think you are?

April 13, 2009 1:38 pm

Stop critisizing because ur jealous! Imean cmon just be normal!

family shmamily
April 13, 2009 12:59 pm

call it what you want. “family seating” or “family piknik”….
it’s “mixed seating” plain and simple. i was not there and didn’t see a video so, can’t comment on his performance.
however, the seating was not proper. end of story.

Agree with #20
April 13, 2009 12:47 pm

Some people are mamash just nasty. I mean, if they really really cared, they could go and talk to benny personally. what do they accomplish by posting it online. pure rishus. mamash jealousy. mamash sinas chinum. I doubt Benny looks at all these comments anyway.

April 13, 2009 9:52 am

whats to discuss. benny was awesome lst night. benny is awesome period.

mixed seating
April 13, 2009 9:28 am

there is nothing wrong with family seating, when you go to a restaurant to you make sure to sit in a room with only men? when you walk down the street do you make sure to only walk on the mens side? if you dont like the concert dont go, but dont bash someone and say loshon harah in public. you need to go ask mechila from benny

i like it when people are nice
April 13, 2009 9:27 am

please people lets be nice and do what we were all taught to do.
“if you wouldn’t like people writing comments like this on you.
PLEASE dont do it to others!!!!
no matter who”
woulndt that be nice

Great job Benny!

benny friedman
April 13, 2009 8:53 am

hints of greatness are already noticeable.
adaraba, look at mbd even his uncle fried, before they had their first recording out—–they didnt come close!
he is quite impresive.

Don’t think its moshe tiesh, hence my question…
the far left is eli sinreich [spelled like an ot’nik]

April 13, 2009 8:14 am

benny, great job. your kalah is one lucky girl.

go benny
April 13, 2009 8:13 am

ppl no need to be critical. benny is bh an extremely talented guy just trying to do what he loves doing. how comfortable would you be singing in front of an audience that size? he does very very well, and if you are criticizing him because you truly care then do so privately. he is a sweet boy who doesnt deserve to be bashed online. 9: are you his rav? his mashpia? no. didnt think so. then frankly, nobody asked your opinion.

April 13, 2009 8:04 am

according to most pple its not MIXED seating its caled FAMILY seating, where families sit together and enjoy a concert together. i wasnt there, but i believe there is nothing wrong with family seating,so go find isues with something else,

April 13, 2009 7:38 am

does anyone know the names of the 4 Alumnei?

mixed seating! why?
April 13, 2009 7:02 am

Benny, parnoso is an important part of getting married etc. but, singing at an event with men & women sittiing together, is sending our kids the wrong message. If you are gonna improve your style and make it, you gotta make the right moves!

gr8 job bennny!!!!

April 13, 2009 5:50 am

April 13, 2009 5:26 am

Totally mixed seating,; no separate seating, men & women??!

YBC Live 3 Concert?

good job……

MBC Concert
April 13, 2009 3:33 am

Benny sung well but needs to polish up stage presence and commentaries. Too often sings with his back to audience trying to conduct orchestra , which is only a reflection of his nerves. The mini-jog looks ridiculous. Watch MBD in his early years. Faces the camera and crowd, and stands in one spot totally immersed in the song he is singing. TG Begun lost his voice so he couldn’t sing but still appeared when no one needed him. Concert in general was not as good as in past years.
