The popular Tzivos Hashem Hakhel Squads Curriculum for Mesibas Shabbos has already reached 217 locations far and wide.
Tzivos Hashem Argentina, led by Rabbi Shlomo Taubenfliegel and Rabbi Natan Teitelbaum, has taken the Hakhel Squads to Argentina by translating the entire Hakhel Curriculum into Spanish.
Check out the Hakhel Squad’s Breakout video in Spanish!
The Hakhel Squads Curriculum have also been adapted by Kesser Torah Sydney, Cheder Chabad Philadelphia, Cheder Chabad Sydney, Chassidus Club New Haven, Ohr Temimim Buffalo, Tzivos Hashem Argentina, Chabad of Conejo, Chabad of New London, Connecticut, Chok Lyisroel, Bais Chaya Mushka Los Angeles, Oholei Torah Crown Heights, Cheder Chabad Youth Melbourne, and Worldwide Summer Camps.
When the Rebbe established Tzivos Hashem in Shnas Hakhel 5741, the Rebbe asked that all the children should gather in groups, preferably on Shabbos or other special days. These groups should be called Tzivos Hashem. By using the same name in all countries they would be united. But it wasn’t just a name; the Rebbe wanted the groups to run like a real army.
The children were to gather with their generals and train how to fight their Yetzer Hora. The Rebbe even went into the details of the curriculum. The children should learn from the example of the Avos, Imohos and Dovid Hamelech as their example how to overcome their personal battles, the Rebbe said.
“We have been pushing this concept for many years through the Hachayol Magazine,” says General Shimmy Weinbaum of the Chayolei Tzivos Hashem Brigade. “While it created awareness we had a very limited success. This year being Shnas Hakhel we pushed again, with the amazing video posted above, but this time thanks to Tzivos Hashem Hakhel Director Chaya Illulian the Rebbe’s vision finally started to unfold.”
Tzivos Hashem started the pilot program with Bais Rivka and Bnos Menachem of Crown Heights and currently has reached over 217 Locations Worldwide! The phones at Tzivos Hashem are ringing off the hook from people requesting the incredible curriculum.
Now that the clocks have changed and Messibas Shabbos will be starting up all around the country Tzivos Hashem is excited to share this curriculum with schools free of charge, along with step by step support from the Hakhel coordinator Chaya Illulian.
