Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch will be moving its growing number of divisions to the Lubavitch Headquarters building at 784 Eastern Parkway in Crown Heights, COLlive has learned.
Long time occupants of the offices, Vaad Printing, recently moved out, allowing construction to begin on offices for Jnet.org, Moshiach campaign, MyShliach.com and HaChayal, Shluchim Exchange, Online Shlichus learning center (BML, SLC, SA), Merkos Shlichus, Bogolubov Simcha Fund, The Kinus Office, Smile on Seniors, CTeen, Merkos Mentors and Rabbi Markowits’ office.
actually the Rebbe expressly put the vaad l’hafotzos sichos there. and r’ benche shemtov a”h decided to print commercially during the week to which the rebbe was maskim almost forty years ago!
agav they also ran kehos from 1979- 1993 on after the rebbe made a contract with r’ sholom jacobson and r’ zalman chanin the rebbe and rabbi chadakov signed
and whats wrong with that??? he is the one that does all the work now. just becuse they throw a few dollars at him it dosent mean they own him.

THE REBBE PLACE VAAD PRINTING THERE, and told them that they should indeed do private printing in order to stay alive…
besides the fact that they still print sichos, the Rebbe is going to be nisgaleh any moment now (unless you don’t believe in that…) and they belong there!

The apartment where the Vaad has been free loading since 1994, was originaly an apartment rented to a Lubavitcher chosid (before Merkos bought the building). The Chosid printed in his living room, the Rebbe’s Sichos. After Gimmel Tammuz Vaad Printing became a private buisness with no excuse to continue buisness there without paying rent.
30 + years of free rent for a business is long enough, Moshe S is not complaining, its only the trouble maker Kuti that is tring to bring Moshiach by making machlokes in Lubavitch.
