Recently, Chabad Youth of Melbourne, directed by Rabbi Moshe Kahn, held their annual CGI Boys Summer Camp.
Set into three divisions, Primary, Secondary, and Yeshivas Kayitz, the camp catered to all types of Jewish boys, with over 200 campers from around Australia.
The Primary division, with over 100 campers aged 6-12, was headed by Shluchim to Yeshivah Gedolah, Moshe Wolvovsky, Yitzchok Meir Einstein, Mendy Kesselman and Nochum Greenberg.
The Secondary division, with over 80 campers aged 13-15, was headed by Yeshivah College Shluchim, Meir Avner Kirschenbaum, Dovid Rachmani and Laibel Greenbaum.
The Yeshivas Kayitz division, with over 30 boys aged 16-17, was headed by Yeshivah Gedolah Shluchim Hirschel Gourarie, Shmuly Lipskier, Nochum Greenwald and Yisroel Halon.
Over 70 Bochurim from Yeshivah Gedolah as well as Shluchim were counselors for all grades.
The camp went from the 7th of Teves until the 21st of Teves, and was located in the countryside of Melbourne, Victoria.
The theme of camp was the 12 Pesukim, and one learning class a day was dedicated to learning one of the Pesukim with the Rebbe’s Biurim on them, as well as Biurim taken from various places in Nigleh and Chassidus.
