Over 100 educators gathered in Crown Heights for renewed inspiration and camaraderie.
It’s become a yearly thing. Deep into the school year, mechanchim from far and near gather for a Yud Shvat farbrengen in Crown Heights organized by Igud Hamelamdim. They come together in a spirit of achdus to recharge and connect with fellow educators.
This year’s speaker was Rabbi Leima Wilhelm, mashpia in the yeshiva in Morristown, who dynamically addressed them with a blend of chassidic insight and practical chinuch.
The foundation of chinuch, he said, are the regular days and interactions with our students. What may seem plain and bland will actually impact the child for years to come. As Chassidus teaches, “Asiya l’eila,” that simple actions connect to Hashem Himself. When a teacher appreciates the greatness of what he’s doing, he can rise above any challenge.
As a Teacher myself who benefits from Igud Hamelamdim, i want to thank the organizer Rabbi Avrohom Bluming for all your dedicated work you do for us the teachers, in and out of the classroom. Its all done with top of the line quality! greatly appreciated by all of us!
All i could say is, BH for this organization.
They really care for Chinuch & for the Teachers.
