Hundreds enjoyed a spectacular concert in the Brooklyn School of Music and Theater, as adults and children with special needs and their families were treated to entertainment by Mordechai Ben David, Yeedle, the Piamenta brothers, Yehuda Green, the Shira Choir, Shua Kessin, and our very own Temimim Boys Choir.
Crown Heights’ own Temimim Choir, under the leadership of Rabbi Yossi Goldstein, rocked the house with their upbeat popular hits from their upcoming CD, including Kol Yemai, Mitzvah Gedolah and Karah Lashemesh.
The concert was the annual Hamaspik celebration in honor of Sukkos, where children and adults with special needs enjoy a day when they are the stars of the show, singing on stage along with Jewish music’s biggest stars. Parents, filled with emotion, clapped and sang along with their children at this unique event.
