A Town Hall meeting with Mayor Bill De Blasio is planned for Wednesday in Brooklyn, where he will address concerns and questions of community members.
The Town Hall Meeting is hosted by Council Member Laurie Cumbo, Borough President Eric Adams, in conjunction with US Representative Yvette Clarke, US Representative Hakeem Jeffries, State Senator Velmanette Montgomery, State Senator Jesse Hamilton and Assembly Member Walter Mosley.
Representatives from city agencies will be there with the Mayor and Council Member to respond to the issues facing the 35th District.
District 35 includes Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, and parts of Bedford Stuyvesant. This will be our 50th Mayoral Town Hall.
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 20th, 7:00 pm at University Settlement – Ingersoll Community Center, 177 Myrtle Avenue, Brooklyn.
Doors open at 6:00 pm and close at 7:30 pm.

I hope someone asks him about the effort to require yeshivos that take federal funding as a school, to teach basic secular studies. An effort that is being quietly stalled within government.
