The first anniversary of the terror attack on the Chabad House in Mumbai, India, will be commemorated in a series of events around the world.
Chabad Houses, the Lubavitch community, and Jews all over the world will remember the brutal murder of five Jews, including Shluchim Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg OBM.
At the International Kinus Hashluchim in New York, to take place November 11-16, participants will be able to write a letter in the Torah in memory of the Holtzbergs.
It will be completed Thursday night, November 12, and will be led to 770 with dancing, Hakafos and a special Farbrengen.

i say all the babys named for gabi and rivky this year do something together maybe a picture?? it would be an amazing thing to show gabi and rivkys parents just how many neshamas were named for their children!! my son is gavriel and i think it would be so special to see all the other gavriels and rivkas…
it can’t be a year, it won’t happen, Moshiach will come….
ok, is there a date anyhow? like lets ssay all the jews say that it was lets say on R”H kislev, so i can say the tehillim on R”H kislev cuz thats the assumed date?
It seems that they are not sure when the actual murder took place, I think that’s the point.
On a happier note, thank you for that picture, seeing our Moishe smile with his lulav and esrog is a true comfort.
I sure am going to give him a present in his upshernish any ideas???
and i would like to fast on the true date.
look on top of the diamonds. its a bit faint in this pictures, so ask anyone and theyll recognize the design of the diamond yamulke with yechi ontop
omg i cant believe we are arguing on such a trivial matter
he is adorable!!!! he is a special child and he will grow to be like his parents! iy”h!
just for the record, its NOt a yechi yarmulka, its a yarmulka with diamonds on it!!!!!
who said hes wearing a yechi yarmulka and even if he is or isnt he still looks adorable(and if he wasnt does that me he doesnt look cute?)
first of all, he is so SO cute, he totally totally looks like gabi a”h (he – moishi- should live for long years), it will take a blind person not to see the resembelance.
second, i also ANXIOUSLY want to know whats the exact day of his parents’ yortzait. i thought its 28 cheshvan. please someone clarify
third of all, what day exactly is moishis opshernish? i need to know when to change from 3 to 4 (tehillim)
lastly, where does moishi live? with his grandparents rosenberg in afula?
i desperately need the answers
Relax, I don’t think anyone here was asking for updates in order to gossip. People are just concerned about him, It is normal. A goy once said to me, about Moishele, you are crying about a kid and family you never even met? And I could not explain to this goy that even if it is a Jew I have never met, my pain is still the same. We are Jews and we care about eachother half way across the world even if we don’t know eachother. Ahavas Yisrael. That what it really is.
What is the official date of the yahrtzeit? RC Kislev or 2 Kislev?
get over him.
give the boy privacy.
how would u like it if i was asking for updates about YOU?
cutest (and most special) kid in the world
as much normalcy as possible.
say his k’pitel everyday (3, soon 4)
if we all did that with kvana that he grow up with all the necessary strength to endure and overcome,
enough with you and your careless suggestions!!!!!! this kid has to go through enough in life, you want him paraded around like a showdog as well?!?!?!?!?!!?!?
We never get any updates about this precious neshamele.. can anyone give us details?
It was very touching to see that HaMayan Shul (Melbourne, Australia) is dedicating a Sefer Torah in memory of R’ Gavriel and Rivki Holtzberg and the other kedoshim of the Mumbai Chabad House attack.
that HE (the boy) comes to the kinnus also?…..
you’re mean, who cares what kind of yarmulka he’s wearing!
he’s a jew just like you.
In his Yechi Yarmulka!
A GOOD AND PEACEFUL LIFE! MOSHIACH NOW!
