Map of 52 Yeshivos at ‘Hour with the Rebbe’ Released

The Chabad-Lubavitch community is seeing exponential growth, as evidenced by the record number of 52 (!) yeshivos joining the ‘Hour with the Rebbe’ program this Wednesday on Yud Shvat.

The event, which has been taking place annually for the last ten years, will take place from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 770 Eastern Parkway, where a special presentation of a video of the Rebbe will be watched.

This year, the organizers have released a map showing the designated spots for each Yeshiva and their respective students. With close to 4000 Bochurim expected to attend, the arrangements have been made to accommodate everyone comfortably.

Special bleachers have been set up for the Bochurim, ensuring that they can participate in the event without any discomfort.

This year, due to the large crowds, the eastern parkway women’s section will have its windows removed and filled with Bochurim.

Anash, Shluchim, and everyone else not designated a spot on the map are welcome to join from the women’s section at the places not allocated for specific Yeshivos.

An hour with the Rebbe began in 5773 with several hundred Bochurim from six different Yeshivos. As Lubavitch around the world grew, so did the crowd at 770 grow from year to year.
This year, a Hakhel year, close to 4,000 Bochurim are expected from 52 Yeshivos, a historic record.

“This is an amazing program in which the Bochurim get to feel a sliver of what we had when we saw the Rebbe in 770,” one member of Anash shared with us. “It’s very important that everyone should come. I was there and I had tears in my eyes to see Bochurim that never saw the Rebbe. May we see the Rebbe now!”

“I remember as a young Bochur being there and feeling very inspired,” said a Shliach from California. “It gives me energy until today.”

As we prepare to enter the 73 years of the Rebbe’s leadership, An hour with the Rebbe is a true testament to “Every single year, [The Rebbe] becomes more alive, stronger and more active.”

May we be Zoche to the Hisgalus and celebrate Yud Sh’vat this year with the Rebbe, Kohol Gadol Yashuvu Heina.
