The Chassidisher Derher, a unique publication in English for bochurim of Chabad Mesivtas worldwide, has issued a special edition in honor of Yud Aleph Nissan, the Rebbe’s 110th birthday.
Articles includes the review of how Yud Aleph Nissan was celebrated with the Rebbe over the years, an overview on Seudas Moshiach, how to conduct “a Yiddishen Seder,” a profile on the chossid R’ Yosef Kol-Bo and stories.
The Derher is published weekly in a 4 page format under the auspices of the Vaad Talmidei Hatmimim and is sent to over 25 Chabad Yeshivos for further bochurim’s knowlege and hiskashrus.
It began last year Chof Beis Shvat by an independent effort by a group of buchrim who have since come to New York to learn at the Central Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva in 770 Eastern Parkway and have teamed up with the Vaad.
“Our main goal was to bring interesting stories, sichos and information off the shelf and into the world of the reader,” one of the editors who are unnamed, told COLlive.com.
“It soon evolved into creating original material for its readership.”
This expanded edition of 32 pages and printed in 3,000 copies, the third in its series, was sponsored by Reb Shimon Aron Rosenfeld of Crown Heights. Printing was donated by the Printhouse.
COLlive.com presents below the section “Behind the Picture” of the Rebbe.

shalom!!!
this was awesome keep it up!!
There was another car bought in total discretion in 5750 by Dani Namdar A”H from Italy. He sponsored a $25000 lease. It was done sha shtil, and if I am not mistaken Rabbi Krinsky explained to the Rebbe that the old car was not worth maintaining. The Rebbe accepted the idea. Buying this “simple” replica without a fuss, very different to the fancy cadillac in 5746 which was lifted, extra comfort, a big fuss, in the eye. So we DO know the reason. Lesson: live discreetly and don’t make a fuss of trivial middles as cars.
A wondeful toichendike discussion suitable for a Lubavitch website. Thank you for posting this article and may the chassidishe dialogue continue. The Rebbe is proud! Keep it up!
in the sicha of ”Kedoshim” the Rebbe says that we will not need to have the car because we will have the ananei shmaya.
not that we will have the car on the ananei shmaya.
