Vacation Crown Heights, a series of workshops, classes and courses for women – and more recently added classes for men – continues in Crown Heights.
Women enjoyed a variety of courses such as a Yiddish class by Mrs. Brod, anger management with Mrs. Bronya Shaffer, and a make up course by Mrs. Daniella Chayo.
Classes for both men and women included a Chinuch workshop with Rabbi Yossi Simpson, Principal of Lubavitch Yeshivah. Rabbi Simpson addressed the challenges of Chinuch, “Keeping the Outside Influences Out.”
Upcoming classes for men and women: Wednesday August 19th – How to Raise a Chayal. Learn to communicate with your teenagers with Rabbi Kalman Weinfeld.
Thursday August 20 – First Aid For Jewish Marriages – Sholom Bayis workshop for couples with Rabbi Danny Schonbach. An eye opener and must for couples of all ages and backgrounds.
Vacation Crown Heights is a program designed to give people who are in Crown Heights for the summer a breath of vacation air. Classes, courses and workshops are offered daily for everyone to come and enjoy.

I go all the time! And really enjoy Mrs Shaffer and many other classes, courses and workshops! There is a suggested donation… this is no money making ordeal. it is hard working teachers and staff. Maybe come see something before you criticize #5

Any classes (=shiurim) for the bored bochurim or girls that I see roaming the streets of crown heights?
Oh, thats right if we give them classes we’ll have to charge, because we’ll be competing with the camps/yeshivas that need to charge a fortune…
