Local Girls to Perform

Over the past few weeks, a group of girls in the Crown Heights neighborhood have gotten together to create music and art.

One girl on the piano, another with her incredible voice and a third expressed her talent through writing rap tunes and the production of a music video.

These girls have yet another thing in common, they all take part in A.L.I.Y.A. Girls.

A.L.I.Y.A. Girls has been providing a venue of safe self-expression for the young women of Crown Heights for over a year.

There have been afternoon and night learning and activities, Shabbos meals, trips and concerts.

A.L.I.Y.A. Girls would like to share their gift by inviting the women and girls of Crown Heights to an end of the year Yud Beis Tammuz Musical Performance.

The star of the evening will be Ms. Liba Farkash of considerable fame for her stunning voice. Ms. Freidel Swarzberg and Ms. Mali New will both be befitting accompaniment.

The concert will be held at 306 Albany Ave. (C.A.Y.) this Thursday, Yud Beis Tammuz, June 20th at 7:00pm.
