The JGU Press, a project of Jewish Girls Unite, is thrilled to announce the upcoming release of its latest publication, ‘Weaving The Tapestry: A Journey Exploring Women of Valor Through the Ages’. This inspiring book delves into the timeless song of ‘Aishes Chayil — A Woman of Valor’, presenting remarkable stories of Jewish women who embody the virtues encapsulated in its verses.
To celebrate the release, a virtual book launch event will take place this Sunday afternoon, June 4, at 12 noon EST. The online program will feature inspirational tribute stories about women of valor from the book, as well as live performances by renowned singers Chaya Bracha Rubin and Chaviva Tarlow.
‘Weaving The Tapestry’ is the third publication in a series that began with the ‘One More Light’ book and ‘Voices in Harmony’ songbook available on Amazon. This collection represents the gifts entrusted to Jewish women and invites readers to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Each chapter offers thought-provoking questions and answers to deepen the understanding of the verses. The book also delves into the lives of Women in the Torah, who serve as exemplars of the virtues highlighted in each verse. Throughout its pages, readers will encounter Meaningful Melodies, Pearls of Wisdom, and heartfelt Aishes Chayil stories and tributes, all resonating with the essence of the verse.
Authored by Nechama Laber, founder of the JGU Press and a dedicated Chabad Shlucha, ‘Weaving The Tapestry’ aims to inspire readers to embrace their inner woman of valor and contribute their unique gifts to the magnificent tapestry of creation. Guided by the merit of women, this transformative journey leads us towards redemption.
