The North of Crown Heights was thrilled to celebrate the grand reopening of The Lincoln Place Shul and Beis Hamedrash.
The Shul has undergone major renovations and is now one of the newest and most beautiful shuls in Crown Heights.
The Lincoln Place Shul and Beis Hamedrash is a vibrant shul which opened 4 years ago and is located in the North of Crown Heights. It has a traditional Chabad atmosphere, serving members from all backgrounds.
The Shul hosts weekly Shiurim and events for men and has gatherings and workshops for women and children.
The shul is located 1185 Lincoln Place between Albany and Troy and is led by Rabbi Meyer Shushan.
The reopening event began with a conclusion of Tractacte Nazir by Mr. Shmuel Salfati, one of the Rabbi’s close friends who sponsored a sumptuous meal to honor the occasion.
The event was honored with the attendance of Mr. Simon Chetrit (New York, NY) a well-respected philanthropist and Torah-study partner with the shul’s Rabbi.
Mr. Chetrit, whose love for Torah and Mitsvot is known by all, spoke with heartfelt words to the crowd about the importance of setting times for Torah learning and giving Tzedaka.
Some of the Shul’s sponsors present at the event were honored and spoke about their love for Torah outreach, even to faraway locations, and their will to expand the shul and its activities.
For the last few years, the Shul has been founding and expanding Torah and Tanya classes in locations such as Engelwood NJ, Westchester, NY, Monroe, NY, allowing many to discover and enjoy the Tanya and Chassidus perspectives.

I feel honored to be a neighbor and also to daven there. Originally I went there as a convenience, however I really got addicted to the place. For starters reb Meir greets every מתפלל and makes them feel like they are an integral part of the minyan regardless of the levels of their observance . His chasidus shiur on Shabbos is amazing. The Farbrengen’s are great and you get a flavor of the Rebbe’s torahs and also the other rebbeim. It’s a Chabad House and a Shul in crown heights. Reb Meir. Keep it up. We will soon have to… Read more »
