Ahavas Chesed Center in Crown Heights held a Chanukah party this week for local children and their parents.
Directed by Rabbi Avraham Lieder, the center distributed some 600 toys and gifts with boys and girls choosing the one of their liking.
Some of the toys will be given to sick children at home and in hospitals.
Rabbi Yossi Goldstein of the Temimim band played and sang as participants enjoyed Latkes, candy and doughnuts.
“Next year we’ll be needing a bigger hall,” Rabbi Lieder commented.
