Levi Kamensky, a young man from Crown Heights, passed away on Friday night, 10 Cheshvan, 5782.
He was 29 and passed away after suffering from a short illness.
He will always be remembered by his family as a kind and gentle soul, always ready to help a fellow Jew and always had a smile on his face. He received semicha from Rabbi Yeruslavski while studying in Eretz Yisroel.
He was an amazing son, brother and friend and his presence and zest for life will be sorely missed.
Nobody should ever experience the loss of someone so young and the family of Levi encourages you to take on a mitzvah of your choice to commemorate and celebrate life.
He is survived by his parents Moshe Kamensky (Hollywood, FL) and Hadassa Kamensky (Pittsburgh) and siblings Chana Waks (Hollywood, FL), Chaya Cohen (Crown Heights), Rivkah Kamensky, Schneur Kamensky (Rechovot, Israel), Moussia Kohanbash (Pittsburgh, PA), Charna Kamensky (Hollywood, FL) Shmuel Kamensky (Chaifa), Yaakov Kamensky (Crown Heights), Chezky Kamensky (Crown Heights) and Shaina Kamensky (Hollywood, FL).

Levi was unbelievably kind to my father, z”l, while he was alive, and showed up voluntarily to help my father get ready for shul and wheeled him to shul while discussing Tiarah with him. We were so grateful for his thoughtfulness, done with enthusiasm and out of love and respect.

BDE. A very special soul, full of simcha and excitement for Yiddishkeit and Chassidus. Most of all he was legendary for his Ahavas Yisroel, always ready to help another in any way he could. He will greatly be missed here in Pittsburgh. May Hashem reveal Moshiach now, so that we can once again feel the simcha he brought wherever he was present.

This was a big shock to hear. Such a sincere Yid. May his Neshama have an Aliya, and may his family have a nechamah
May all of his family be comforted.
His mother is one special lady who organized a thillim group for singles which she has been leading for many years. It is her in her z’chus that so many shidduchim have been made. May this golus end now!

May you have lots of good memories and may he be one of the first to come back with the ultimate simcha becoming of Moshiach in our days!!!
Stay strong. You are loved. You’re all adorable. May Hashem bless you with goodness and happiness.

I wish many blessings on everyone who was there to support us and continue to do so during this very difficult time. It’s obvious that Levi completed his mission in life and H-Shem took his very pure Neshama at that time. May Levi Yitzchak Ben Moshe Yisroel storm the Heavens for Moshiach to come immediately!!
