Singer and entertainer Yishai Lapidot, who founded the hit music group Oif Simchas, recently heard singer Arik Dvir singing a popular Israeli song “Adama Veshamayim.”
The song was originally performed by a band named Segol with the lyrics written by Shimon Swisa. Frum producers Eli Klein and Itzik Bari remade the song into a dance tune that has been played at frum weddings in Israel.
Lapidot and Dvir decided to record the song together and have released the track this week with fellow musicians commenting that the song is “the bomb.”
Lapidot and Oif Simchas, along with Shmuly and Bentzi Marcus of the 8th Day Band, will headline this year’s Soul II Soul concert in Crown Heights on February 24, 2019.
This year’s concert will take place at a new, larger venue, at the Master Theater at 1029 Brighton Beach Ave, Brooklyn, NY. The concert will be produced by Mendy Boaron of MLP Lighting, with Musical Production by Davidi Crombie.

Very beautiful
What’s the yiddishe toichen in this song? Or because it has hebrew words, it’s already kosher?
I mean, What’s the toichen, “i feel the water and the fire in my body and soul.” That’s it? What’s the message if so?
Anyways, very nice song, and yes it’s going already in frum weddings..
And Yishai Lapidot, great job. Hatzlocho.
Nice song
Is this a Jewish song? (Sounds just ‘israeli’ to me…)
