Bais Chaya Mushka has kicked off its largest fundraising effort of the year over just 1 day, starting Tuesday, February 16, 2016.
Bais Chaya Mushka School for Girls, located in Los Angeles, has served as the only Chabad elementary school for girls in the Los Angeles area for almost 30 years. BCM signed on to this high stakes, innovative online fundraising initiative that could raise a significant amount for itself in 24 hours, starting at 1:00pm PST on Tuesday, Feb 16, 2016.
BCM has provided innovative, quality Jewish and secular education for girls from its onset in 1989. It is the mission of the school to provide a comprehensive education to all Jewish girls, regardless of the economic standing of their families. As the cost of private education soars, Bais Chaya Mushka has continued to accept students from dire financial circumstances, even when other schools have turned them away. Therefore, we must now look to the community to help us provide for those students.
According to Rabbi Danny Yiftach, Director of Bais Chaya Mushka, “With the lowest tuition in the Los Angeles area, we seek to help the community secure affordable Jewish education for their daughters. With our highly qualified, experienced staff, we have successfully educated students that grow to be community builders and leaders across the globe, year after year. That is true nachas and a return on the parents’ and community’s investment in our students and our school.”
Bais Chaya Mushka has set out to raise as much as possible over just 24 hours, using an innovative online crowdfunding platform: Charidy.com.
All donations on the day of the event will be QUADRUPLED thanks to generous matching support secured by the organization in advance
However, if BCM does not meet its online goals within 24 hours, their pledges are not processed or collected.
