Sunday, the Kolel L’Horaah Ma’asis of Crown Heights began its 5th year, with over 20 Yungeleit and Bochurim, learning the Halachos of Buying and Selling.
The Kolel, founded by Rabbi Shlomo Greenwald, began its 5th year of learning Halacha this Sunday, with the study of the Halachos of Buying and Selling (Choshen Mishpat Siman 189 onwards).
The first Shiur by the Rosh Kolel, Rabbi Sholom Shuchat, was given on Monday, discussing in-depth the topics of verbal agreements, their validity, and when can one go back on their agreements.
Rabbi Shlomo Greenwald, the Kolel founder and director, who oversaw all fundraising and operations of the Kolel, is currently recovering from a medical episode, and the yearly campaign to cover the expenses of Kolel (over $50,000 monthly) is lagging behind.
