Hundreds of bochurim attended a panel on Motzoei Shabbos that recalled how the month of Tishrei was spent with the Rebbe.
In the large Kollel hall on Kingston Avenue and Union St. in Crown Heights, the young Lubavitchers learned about those ‘good old days.’
Rabbi Binyomin Klein, member of the Rebbe’s secretariat, has spoken up about those individuals who deny the existence of the Ohel – the resting place of the Rebbe since Gimmel Tammuz 5754.
“Each tomim needs to know that the place for him to come and ask the Rebbe, as if he is in Yechidus in the regular years, is the Ohel, as the Rebbe wrote (about his father in law – the previous Rebbe) ‘here he is’.”
Director of the Chinuch Office Rabbi Nochum Kaplan and Mashpia Rabbi Efraim Piekarski, both of whom spent the Tishrei holidays with the Rebbe in the early years before their Bar Mitzva, related stories and anecdotes as well.
