In what has now become an annual Chanukah tradition, the Shluchim in the Kansas City region celebrated Chanukah with the Governor of Kansas, Governor Mark Parkinson, along with members of his staff.
The Governor was presented with a gift of a hand-painted dreidel from Israel.
Participating were Rabbi Sholom Wineberg, Chabad-Lubavitch Regional Director for the states of Kansas and Missouri, Rabbi Mendy Wineberg, Program Director of Chabad of Kansas City, Rabbi Zalman Tiechtel, Chabad of Kansas University and the Capital area, and Rabbi Itche Itkin of Chabad on the Plaza in KC, MO.
