Fifty years ago in the year תשכ״ז) 1967) the Rebbe started a massive campaign to get every Jew to put on tefillin if not daily, at least once in their lifetime.
Since then the campaign has become a staple of the Chabad identity and has effected hundreds of thousands if not millions of lives around the world.
In the last few years it became the trend to take a picture or a “Tefillin Selfie” when doing this special mitzvah.
Last year Adam Nesenoff and Leibel Khazanovich compiled all of their 1500+ Tefillin Selfies and created a photo mosaic of the Rebbe which went viral on Whatsapp, Facebook, and other social media.
This year in honor of the 50th anniversary of this incredible mivtza we would like to invite and encourage everyone! Shluchim, baalei batim and bochurim alike to participate in this years mosaic by emailing Leibel at [email protected]
