What a bunch of yokels. They probably know nothing about Jordan, the region or anything and assume they’re walking into a country like Iraq. I’ve seen hassidic families flying to eretz yisroel on Air Jordan. They can walk around freely and unmolested in Amman, Petra etc… Of course, there are dangerous areas, mostly the pro-Palestinian neighborhoods but I imagine these guys didn’t have to put on this whole show. For their sake, I hope that really was kever Aharon.

Looks like they had fun

Not Petra

Aharon’s kever is in Wadi Musa — across the valley from Petra, not in Petra itself.

I’m very sorry but this is just ingnorant what you write because ולא ידע איש את קבורתו only applies to moshe

Moshe Rabbeinu and Aharon Hakohein..

They were 120 plus and made it up there without jeeps and eizlin (donkeys). These guys sound like they’re gasping for breath.

Silly

Waste of time and effort for them. We as a family went to Aamman to visit Har Nvo and beyond which is coming from the heart of Muslim/Arab concentration with Yarmulkes and Tzizis with absolute no problem. In fact they were are nice and welcoming.

Aharon kever is not known
May 28, 2018 3:58 am

It’s not Aharon kever. No one knows were it is, it’s someone’s else kever, it’s says clearly in Torah no one knows were moshe & Aharon are

Something we don’t see everyday. Thanks for sharing the clip But, let me understand something here. “One must dress like an Arab or else they don’t let you in” loosely quoting the video. Which turns out to be false. As many go to Russia to Lubavitch and put a “Kasket” What bothers me a lot here is 2 things. As they pass a narrow edge of the mountain one says “holy cr..p” oh my is that the inspirational preparation to go to Aaron Hakohens never with that one prepares oneself to enter an ultimate holy site ? How false. Seems… Read more »

If you would not of told me these guys were Jewish I would of thought they were arab. The mossoad should use these guys top of line. Espionage at its finest

Not Muslims, ARABS. Big difference. And not just Christian and muslim Arabs, but Jews from Arab lands traditionally dressed the exact same way as their Arab brethren. I agree with you, as you said, Jordan is pretty safe.

Excuse me, many Mizrahi jews including members of my family wear SHEMAGHS, NOT “Shamatas.” Thank you so much for insulting our heritage and culture, wow. Also, shemaghs from other countries are also traditionally either red or black.

Ignorance

Aharion’s Kever is well marked and protected as a holy place. Anyone can go there dressed as a proud Jew! If they thought they were risking their lives and had to dress as Muslims, they should’nt have gone.

Exactly. They are not dressed up as Jordanians red shamatas. They are dressed up as arabs from another country = tourists.

The Jordanian headscarf
May 27, 2018 8:42 pm

The Jordanian Shemagh is red traditionally, not blue.

is this a joke?
May 27, 2018 8:41 pm

They’re afraid of Petra? Wow…..Petra is much safer for Jews than one would think.

Nice
May 27, 2018 8:39 pm

Never mind, they sing nice, maybe produce a CD

Petra
May 27, 2018 8:37 pm

It is a known place,
You have to go up a mountain on a donkey for 2 hours,
I have been to Petra wearing a yarmulke ,
Did not have to dress like a Arab ,
Good publicity stunt.

Really nice

If they felt it necessary to wear disguises how come they
May 27, 2018 8:28 pm

talked so freely in front of their Bedouin guides? They language might possibly be recognized as Jewish. Very special and beautiful but also not a bit risky?

Wow!!
May 27, 2018 8:24 pm

How did they locate it

Boruch hashem
May 27, 2018 8:14 pm

May 27, 2018 8:03 pm
