The second major storm of the winter kept the Chabad Center’s annual Hanukkah celebration indoors Sunday, Dec. 21, at Holliston Town Hall.
But members braved slick roads to build a “CAN-orah,” a menorah made of canned goods collected for charity.
The Chabad Center in Milford has a tradition of making unusual menorahs to mark the eight-day holiday. Past highlights include a menorah made from ice and another built out of Legos.
This one focused on a cause. All canned goods collected for the “CAN-orah” were expected to be donated to Jewish Family Service of MetroWest and the Salvation Army.
