maybe there is/was an issue, but I’m happy that they seem like wonderful people, and they will work it out as everyone does…in private

I suggest you stay out of the Jacoby’s business and allow them some privacy to deal with their family issues as they see fit. When and if they choose to go public is up to them. We were there for them to help them find their son. Now we need to be there for them to support them without prying and judging.

The whole community and country came out to help you. On social media passing out fliers and physically looking for Caleb. Yet since he has been found you have basically been silent. While we don’t need to know every detail of why Caleb ran away, you could reach so many people by identifying signs that parents need to look for of a child in crisis.
