How long does it take to get Jewish students excited over the Jewish homeland?
In the case of a group from S. Petersburg in Russia, a total of 7 days.
Their trip to Israel was titled “Land Lovers” and focused on the historical figures that loved the country and cared for it throughout the generations.
It was led by Rabbi Zvi Pinsky, Director of Beit Chabad in S. Petersburg who works year-round with the students and young adults in the city.
They visited the 4 holy cities of Jerusalem, Chevron, Tzfas and Tverya, stopping at holy and historical spots in each location and learning about its connection to the Jewish heritage.
The group also enjoyed the many adventurous activities and tourist attractions, a visit to an IDF base and a kumzitz with singer Chaim Israel.
The trip was coordinated by Fleishman Peles VIP.
