This isn’t “more than we asked” – it’s a single (albeit very wet) storm during the fifth dry year in a row. We need about twenty-five more of these storms (but please less wind!) before you can say it’s “more than we asked for.”

Please keep davening.

Tefila really worked

Boy did we get rain and flooding. Several people had to be rescued from a car in a flood and from a wadi. But we only got 3 centimeters up in water level in kineret. We need more rain

Gut voch!

Well, we had some pretty heavy storms yesterday & on Shabbos… but not nearly enough rain. So every time you say Mashiv Haruach U’Morid Hageshem, don’t think of your nasty weather…daven for the Israeli drought that is now in it’s 4th consecutive year.

Keep warm, dry & safe, Crown Heights! Regards from the Holy Land!
