The successful iParade art competition for Lag BaOmer came to an end this week as 100 Jewish books were raffled off among the 119 children contestants from around the world.
Meeting at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights on Tuesday, star singer of the Sparks Boys Choir Shabi Soffer spun the ballot wheel with containing the names of all the contestants.
Present were Rabbis Sholom Ber Baumgarten and Shimmy Weinbaum of Tzivos Hashem youth organization, Yehuda Ceitlin, editor of COLlive.com and Tzviki Wolvovsky, Noach Majesky and Rabbi Mendy Weg of The Great Parade staff.
The two who were chosen:
Yossi Eliav, 11, student of grade 6 in Oholei Torah in Crown Heights, won 75 books.
Shmuli Gurary, 9, student of grade 3 in Ohr Temimim in Buffalo, NY, won 25 books.
