Inspiration leading to action.
Following the Global Unity event in which over 100,000 people gathered worldwide to mark Gimmel Tammuz, a new initiative has been launched to continue the inspiration.
Recently discovered video footage of the Rebbe delivering a sicha was presented by JEM for the first time during the Or Vechom broadcast, during which the Rebbe speaks about the merit of being near a Rebbe and how one remains connected to the Rebbe even while being physically distant.
The Rebbe says that when the visitors who arrived for Yud Shvat return home to their countries, cities and neighborhoods, the effect of their coming together for the Yartzeit of the Nosi must have a continuation, that we should remain together spiritually, in a practical way that leads to tangible results.
The way this should be done, said the Rebbe, is that “you should set times to study from the Rebbe’s Torah teachings, the same teachings, and fulfill his same directives, each of you in your own place.”

In this vein, organizers of the global event have launched a new Chavrusa study partner program which will pair up Chasidim around the world to facilitate the learning of the Rebbe’s Torah throughout the year.
Men, women and children (9 and up) around the world can sign up to be paired up with a Chavrusa, according to daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
Choose from any language, as well as the topic within the Rebbe’s Torah that you would like to learn.
A monthly duch will be sent to the Rebbe with the names of the participants.
