I didn’t believe this was for real, until my Mosad was in dire straights and I had not choice but to try this! Now don’t get me wrong THIS IS NOT MAGIC AS PEOPLE THINK, it’s a ton of stress and work for everyone (especially the runner of the Mosad who’s doing the campaign, because he has to A-get matchers to begin with and B-get people to donate during the 24hrs)! However it gives you an outline to work with and tangible goal for donors. The end result is that the Mitzva is done and everyone is happy. YASHER KOACH!
Because we are a small mosad we were advised not to bother because getting 3 matching partners, even for $10,000 each, is difficult. I wish there was a pool of generous people who are prepared to put in a small amount to different mosdos, depending on their interests- food pantry, school, special children etc. not all of us are in the miion dollar range of expenses but we fulfill a unique need. And we too need help, more than the mega million dollar enterprises which are controlled by a handful of relatives. So many more organizations that do great work… Read more »
