What an amazing time it was this winter at Gan Izzy of Bondi, Sydney, where 104 campers enjoyed two fun-filled weeks.
The campers went on six trips, including Ice Skating, Skyzone, Kartatak raceway, Laser Siege, Wizzy World and Big Blast. Campers also enjoyed a visit from Barak Art and his hula hoop team.
“There was an amazing atmosphere at Gan Izzy,” one enthusiastic parent related. “My kids came home every day excited for the next day. The schedule was packed with fun, education and excitement and staff were outstanding and really dedicated,” she said.
“The camp is all about providing a safe, educational and fun environment so parents can feel good, knowing their kids are in a great place,” said Camp director Rabbi Elimelech Levy of Chabad Youth NSW. “After a long term at school, the children feel rewarded for their diligence and enjoy their free time with friends.”
In addition to the excursions, campers enjoyed great arts’n’crafts like building their own clocks and a pushkah which lights up whenever a coin is dropped in. Many games and competitions gave them the chance to build skills and empower the youngsters.
“We look forward to the next holidays for the next Gan Izzy Vacation Camp,” said Levy.
