This week, bochurim from Mesivta of Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto were rewarded with a mid-Mivtza ice fishing trip.
The Mivtza – which has been ongoing since before Yud Shvat – includes Shiurim of the simple Pirush Hamilos of Davening as well as Pirushim based on Chassidus.
The Bochurim were rewarded for their excellence on the weekly tests as well as their exceptional Davening.
Based out of the sprawling vacation home of Carl R., the Bochurim learned Chassidus, davened Shacharis, enjoyed a mouth watering breakfast, and headed out to Lake Simcoe.
After ice fishing, the Bochurim enjoyed an array of activities available in the house including air hockey, an indoor swimming pool, a workout gym, and much more. These activities were followed by a grand barbeque.
Special thanks to all the Eltere bochurim, Shluchim, and Yeshiva staff who helped make this Mivtza and the trip a smashing success.

I also wish I could have been there. It looks like C. is the perfect male equivalent of a balaboose or HOST WITH THE MOST.
Zemel this wouldn’t have happened without UR Persian accent
Since this is a yeshiva filled with scholars, let me raise a yeshivishe shaylah:
If someone travels across a frozen ocean (e.g. Arctic Ocean) – does s/he bentch Gomel? Is the sakana of travelling the ocean diminished when it is frozen?
