Rabbi Itzik Naimark from Chabad of Hebron passed by a group of Golani Brigade soldiers, one of the most highly decorated infantry units in the IDF, who were about to leave on vacation for the weekend.
They stopped Rabbi Naimark. They said they wanted to thank Chabad for the lavish gourmet dairy meal provided for them on Shavous by Shluchim Rabbi Danny and Batsheva Cohen.
They expressed their gratitude by spontaneously singing this known Chabad song promoting Mivtzah Tefillin and Neshek. The tune is recognized by many soldiers as the anthem of “Beit Chabad Chevron.”
