Heads of Jewish communities and synagogues in the Brooklyn area attended Sunday a security briefing ahead of the upcoming High Holidays.
The meeting was held at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.
Hosted by New York State Senator Eric Adams, the speakers addressed concerns of possible threats to Jewish people during the Tishrei month.
Groups affiliated with Law Enforcement and Homeland Security Agencies were invited.
Among the speakers were Adams, Thomas Donlan, Director of the NYS office of Homeland Security, and Devorie Halberstam, Director of Development of the Jewish Children’s Museum.
Fred Kreiznan of Mayor Michael Bloomberg‘s office attended too.
